Our Medieval-style room devoted to pampering
At the Stronghold there is also a space dedicated to wellness. It is not a real SPA, more of a pampering that the guests of our structure can add to their stay at the Boutique Hotel and to the lunch or dinner at the Locanda della Rocca. One hour of relaxation, of unwinding from the outside world and the stress of every-day life, in a cosy room obtained from the ancient tower of the castle. An original way of taking care of yourself: a bath with essential oils in our barrel bathtub or a restoring massage, with natural locally sourced products or with our comfy infrared armchair, that will give you a heat bath and an immediate sense of well-being from the cervical to the lumbar area. A unique and intense experience!

In the Stronghold Dolii Locus, an intimate and out-of-time setting, the guests of our rooms or of the Locanda della Rocca can book a relaxing bath with essential oils in a peculiar barrel bathtub. To restore the balance between body and soul, to relax and to boost both physical and mental energy.

The drainage massage helps to get rid of the excess liquid, works on the lymphatic circulation, draining and reducing the swelling. It strengthens the immune system, working on the lymph nodes and, other than through the skin, it works through the nose, thanks to the balsamic effect of the thyme oil.
